With others posting a similar problem but using disparate hardware, I am sure that this is a software problem with 2.6.9. I have read and tried all the suggestions in this thread Oh, and of course I have uninstalled and reinstalled Dashboard. I have powered down the Drobo and restarted it and have restarted my Mac from my regular user account and from a spare account I use for troubleshooting (both have admin privileges} I have quit DDService64d in Activity Monitor and it relaunches with a different PID. If this problem persists, then re-install Drobo Dashboard. Please relaunch Drobo Dashboard to correct the issue. However when I launch Drobo Dashboard I get the error message “A required portion of Drobo Dashboard is no longer running. I can access the contents, copy to and from and delete. My Drobo mounts and I can see it in the finder.
